This female eikarian (humanoid reptilian species) is wielding a thorny vine. This scourging vine is not only able to attack with ferocity, but she's also able to cast her magic through it.
The vinelashers are mages, both support and attack. She has the power to cast "Rose Thorns" which can lower a target's defenses, "Spore Cloud" which can cause damage to all enemies and make them very itchy, and "Soothing Bloom" which can heal a small amount restore some stamina and cure a few mental and physical ailments.
Her pose was built out of a dominating, controlling idea. The roses represent her rose thorns spell, and the giant, spiny vine she's using.
