You groggily sit up and slide off your bed, grabbing your phone from the bedside table and checking it.
It's 11:03 am. You have a message on WhinnyPic, which when checking reads: "Wake the fuck up, I'm on my way :p", sent from Purple Plum.
She keeps beating on your door as you quickly splash some water from the bathroom sink onto your face. You dry off and rush downstairs to the door.
Plum is still banging on the door as you swing it open to reveal the small filly. She rolls her eyes teasingly and moves to you.
"Finally man, I should've known you would sleep in this late."
She nuzzles the purple fur of her face along your chest as she quickly lets herself in, a slight chill of her metallic lip piercing seeping through to your skin.
"I work 'til 3 am on weekends, you know that."
She plops her saddlebags down, covered in band stickers and edgy cartoons. You close the door and turn to see her tongue stuck out at you. "This is early for my ass, too. I was up all night with some of the friends you and Cream told me I need to have. Not sayin' it's your fault, buuuuuut..."
"The same friend you're trying to hook me up with?"
"Nah, she's a goody two-shoes who sleeps early. You talked to her yet?"
"Not yet, probably would’ve been asleep like you said." You approach the peninsula of the couch next to where Plum had set her bags, the filly having climbed up onto it herself.
"Yeah, she's probably gonna be around all day though...she maaaay not be too far away either. Anyways, you got the ticket?"
