I actually liked the Bioshock 2, since it had the option of sparing certain individuals. I like to think Delta walks up to them and figures there's been enough senseless death, and while more will occur, now and then, if the option prevents itself, Delta isn't going to be about revenge, and he won't kill anyone who isn't actively a threat to himself, or his charge. A father's wrath, yet tempered with compassion.
Of course as soon as someone tries to shoot me or prove themselves to be an active threat, safety's off, no quarter asked, no quarter given. And the only drill that matters, is the one on my arm. >=3
