Oh boy, this one took a bit of a scramble. And while I have been wanting to draw Rei for years, I should've probably picked a better pose <x3 but here we have our hero, laying in bed covered in bandages, defeated after losing a fight with an Ifrit (Which may or may not exist in the Breath of Fire universe)

But worry not, for he will recover, and regain his strength, and kick that Ifrit's butt to the curb~ X3 or get his butt kicked again and become stronger, which ever happens first.

He could use some encouragement :3
