“Onai, keep your head down boy” Fang whispered to Onai.
“Okay daddy.” Onai replied.
“You see your mama over there?” Fang asked.
“Yeah.” Onai replied.
“When I get in position, you run up and unload the water gun on her. Okay?” Fang stated.
“No, mommy whoop my butt.” Onai exclaimed.
“No she won’t I promise.” Fang said.
“Okay daddy. I hope you’re right.” Onai said.
Fang snuck off behind the shed and then up behind a tree stump. Onai watched as he quickly and quietly maneuvered through the tall grass, way past time to be mowed. At the tree, Fang nodded and pointed to Vapor. Onai took a deep breath before jumping out of the grass and running up to his mom and squirted the entire water gun on to her. She was sun bathing in her two piece bathing suit when the water hit her. Jumping out of the chair she saw the water gun in Onai’s paws.
“ONAI! I’M GOING TO WHIP YOUR ASS! Get your little tail over here you brat.” Vapor shouted.
“But but but Daddy.” Onai stuttered out.
As Onai was trying to explain, three large water balloons hit Vapor in the side of her head and her chest drenching her even more. Fang burst out laughing loudly. “FANG! You best hope that I don’t catch you.” Vapor yelled as she started running towards him.
Fang and Vapor ran around the yard while Onai was rolling around on the ground laughing. Luna stepped outside to join in on swimming but also to see what the yelling was about. She watched as her mom chased her dad. Fang took a quick left towards the pool, causing him to loose his footing for a second, but quickly recovered. Vapor was right behind him as they came up onto the pool. He turned to his right and lost footing on some sand. Vapor seized the moment and pushed Fang into the pool. Seconds later Fang bobbed his head out of the water and headed towards the stairs and out of the pool. As he stood on the top of the stairs, Vapor burst out laughing, as his fur poured out gallons of water onto the concrete walkway. He walked up to Vapor and pulled her into a wet hug, wrapping his tail around them both. Looking at her, he kissed her for a few moments before being interrupted by Luna. “Eww.” Luna stated. Fang pulled out of the kiss and unwrapped his tail. Both stood there dripping water from fur.
Fang headed towards the house but stopped next to Luna. He looked down at her then picked her up and hugged her. “Eww huh?” Fang asked. He gave her a few kisses on her muzzle. “Daddy, you’re getting me all wet.” Luna said innocently. Fang laughed at her comment and put her down. Vapor headed over and reached around Fang’s chest and hugged him then nuzzled his neck. “You made me wet too.” Vapor whispered in his ear. Fang flicked his tail and turned around and smiled at Vapor. “Okay you two, be careful around the pool. Your dad and I are going to go clean up. Tib, Katia, will you watch them please.” Vapor said. Both Tib and Katia nodded. Vapor then pulled Fang into the house through the mudroom door.
