Which either hammers your point home even harder... Or actually denies it. Furry food industry literally MUST have different health and safety regulations, or everyone serving would have to wear hazmat suits to ensure safety... Which, of course, would immediately be for null when you give it to a consumer that is covered head to toe in fur themselves. Occam's Razor, the simple solution is that furries, like dogs and cats in the real world, have a more supportive immune system, allowing for a less hygienic lifestyle, leading in turn to a different system of FDA regulations, which means things like this aren't cracked down upon, or are probably even socially and legally accepted.
... Which, come to think of it, might also be the reason those hot dogs are dripping in fat, not hot dog water... Huh.
