I have a fondness for Baba Yaga.
More cheesy lines below:
If you find an old house
With Legs of a chicken
Be still as a mouse
And learn how to quicken.

This scene definitely portrays the classical song inspired by the Baba Yaga. “The hut on fowl’s legs” by Mussorgsky https://youtu.be/tO5p-gNyVlo

I remember reading some older faerie tales for kids when I was a kid. Similar to Grimm's, these stories didn't hold back or water down the content. Stories were meant to be scary, lol. Wish I still had that book.

The music style reminds me of Peter and the Wolf. A little too airy and bubbly for my tastes, but I'm glad there was a piece covering the stories of Baba Yaga. <3

The basic story behind the piece is that the Russian composer Mussorgsky who took a stroll through an art museum. It was when he came across the painting of a house on chicken legs that this is what he thought of and yeah his style is not for everybody even back then.  He basically wrote a lot of pieces trying to promote Russian cultural roots.

Thank you for taking the time to listen to and for creating this piece of art.

Also yeah the brothers Grimm are definitely not light reading for the faint of heart (😱) LOL

I might be a Furry, but I also appreciate a wide range of art styles. I like glass blowing, wood carving, metal craft, miniatures, painting, poetry, writing, all sorts of things. Always glad to discover some old classics I might have missed. Thanks for sharing!

And here I wanted to come in going yeah it's Baba Yaga but it doesn't really have the same impact if it flat-out states that is Baba Yaga in the intro
