finally! A new comic from me! I said I would try to draw more and I did for like a day and went back to slacking, but I got hit with inspiration and I knew if I didn't draw this now I never would, so I did it
so yea, this actually happened to me, like twice, where a customer demanded to see my ID because they were buying alcohol and didn't believe I was old enough (neither were an actual cop I just made it one in the comic to add some more interest I guess... "Hollywood it up" so to speak)
sometimes they won't even enter my line, I'll be standing there in an empty lane waiting for a customer, someone will come towards my line, see me, and swerve away to enter another line because they assumed I was too young DX
you know you don't even have to be 21 to ring up alcohol, you have to be 21 to buy it but only 18 to sell it, so either they don't know that and assume I'm slightly under the drinking age (which isn't true either) or they assume I'm actually under 18! actually I did have someone say they thought I was either 16 or 17... in fact one of my co-workers actually asked me the other day "so, when will you be turning 18?" >.>
I guess it's not the worst thing, once I'm older I'm sure having a younger appearance will be more of a blessing, lol, at least I don't have it as bad as my sister, she's 28, 5 years older than me, and yet people think I'M the older sibling, and if they think I'm 16... ouch
