I can handle chopsticks, but it has been quite a few years, so like Cynthia, I usually eat my Asian noodles with a fork.... :O

I wonder how many restaurant chefs you've tormented. :p  Every stab of the fork is like a stab to the soul. :o

Once upon a time, I could pick up one grain of rice with chopsticks.  I haven't done it in so long, I'm not so sure I could pick up a clump of cooked rice any longer.

Oh, I have to laugh at the panda.  I've got a panda character who owns a Chinese restaurant in Jaguarville, Flamingo, USA.  (Jacksonville, Florida in case you didn't figure it out.)  He's a golden panda whose name is Jinse Xiongmao.  I'm pretty sure he'd do the same thing as your panda if he caught someone eating his food with a fork.

I guess these panda chefs can be such sensitive souls. :p

For this picture, I was inspired by a PBS short I'd seen years before.  In it, a restaurant patron attempts to use chopsticks but fails miserably, finally demanding a fork in his anger and frustration, much to the restaurant owner's horror.  The owner was inspired to draw simple instructions that he then included with his chopsticks.  Apparently, it worked as the short ended with the foofumbler finally getting the hang of chopsticks, much to the owner's satisfaction.  Kind of an optimistic ending, but I'm sure there are many ex-foofumblers in real life who've benefited from the help.
