Started to read IDW TMNT comics the other day and I REALLY REALLY LOVE the art style which starts in “City Fall” comic 1 <3 I absolutely love that style and therefor I wanted to try to draw Raphael. Not perfectly the same looking since this was my first IDW Raph (from “newest” tmnt comics at least :’D)

I want to keep practicing this art style and then combine it with mine since I love it, love it, love it, love it! >//u//< And I also love Raph! He’s kind of “tiny” but so muscular! I love his arms! And his EYES! OH MY GOD HIS EYES WHEN HE GETS ANGRY! 8D <3

Oh, also! This could be a bit “older” Raphael since he doesn’t look much like teenager (to me) in this pic. But now to bed. Can sleep, with luck, 4h hours...

I didn't even realize I had made those clouds look Japanese-designed ones! :'D Thanks for pointing it out.
That eye was actually quite a struggle. Had to draw it again and again probably 10 times before I was happy with it. But I really like his eyes in IDW comics.

I LOVE the IDW comic books... I buy them every time they are released.. I have 7 of them now and the 8th one will be released in December this year :)
I have discovered many new artists through these comics and one of my favorites has to be Mateus Santolouco :) <3

I don't know do I love them but I REALLY LOVE the art style in City Fall comics <3 Absolutely beautiful! Oohh, where do you buy them!? I would love to get those City Fall comics at least <3

I just started to "read" them few days ago so I'm not familiar with all the artists yet :'D But my "reading" is that, that I skip all other pages but turtle pages I read xD

I get all of mine from Adlibris... takes FOREVER some times but it´s well worth it :)
Adlibris is smack full of TMNT comics ;)

*GASP* DAMN! I know Adlibris but it NEVER hasn't even cross my mind I could search TMNT books / comics from there! I only have been looking ghost / super natural / werewolves etc. books from there instead xD Thank you! <3

That picture is worth a gold medal. I love this serious look and all this cuts and scars. Raphael at his finest angry moment. Looking at the picture he probably have even a good reason this time. I am also collecting the IDW TMNT comic books, but I usually don't start to read a collection before buying all the books. So, I don't know what the picture could tell. Yeah, I know - how can I not read them, having them right on my shelf? Such temptation. Easy - golden patience and strange behaviour. But, man, have I been really that long away? You created already so many awesome pictures!!!!

Thank you so very much! I don't find it odd or anything if you buy collections and read them only then when you have gather them all :) I think that's quite smart actually.

Ahaha, I do draw a lot since I have a lot of time for it - but not always energy for it :'D I hope you like all the arts of mine what you have miss.
