With Smash Bros Ultimate two months away, I want to get my dream predictions out there before the next character drop.
If you ignore the "relevancy" and popular character nonsense, then you know that The Dream Traveler will be the perfect addition to Smash. Klonoa is not only another Namco representative, but he can nearly the same mobility/recovery as Megaman. Both have multiple weapons and can only recover themselves via dog (Rush and Popka). If he does get announced, that will literally be me there IRL. He totally deserves a spot.
Honestly, Blame the fact Namco is too busy milking and shoving the Tales of series down our throats along with constantly making liscensed TV property games when that was never their main department to begin with. Klonoa is just one of the many dead IPs they have, Pac-Man is close to becoming one of them for that matter too. (Pac-Man World is something fans have been clamoring for to come back. The GA series really didn’t tide those fans over because it lacked the elements and mechanics. At least World 3 has those 2 components. Now Pac-Man is stuck with nostalgia pandering or shitter mobile-tier games.)
