Being a small, remote town you don't often see strangers at the midsummer festival, but there she is. It's been almost a year since you met under the old tree by the lake, so long you were thinking you'd never see her again, but despite the long green evening gown her fur patterns are unmistakable. You've never seen a non-anthro wear full clothes before, and it makes her even more irresistible. How did she even manage to put that on...

"You stare at all girls like that, or just the four-legged ones?"

While you were gawking she closed the distance, jumping up to deliver a lick on your nose and a whisper in your ear, "I was hoping to run into you again."

The evening rushes by, a blur of talking and teasing and too much groping for polite company. As darkness sets in she gets up, sauntering away from the light and noise of celebration toward the far side of the lake. The scent of drink and food begin to fade, leaving a tantalizing musk you hadn't noticed before, beckoning you to follow closer. You realize where she's taking you as her pace speeds up. Before long you're both sprinting, a race to the tree you remember so well.

Somehow she beats you there, more agile even with a long gown obstructing her legs. She flops down at the base of the tree, panting with exertion and grinning with satisfaction. Rolling onto her back, spreading her legs, the fabric hangs just a little too low and she says,

"Now, help me out of this dress."

A followup variant of

When Kinaj and I were trying to get Jess's fur patterns just right I noticed that if you only look left of her forearm her chest markings looks like one of those single-strap evening gowns, and so this idea was born. It was originally going to be just a small variation, the same autumn pic with a dress drawn over her, but the more I thought about it while finishing the original, the more it grew, until here we are.

I planned ahead enough that most of the background was on different layers and could easily be HSV-adjusted to what it is now, hooray for planning!

Usually I am not so for when people put their dogs into dresses, but they rarely look so good in it~

I like to think she put herself into it, even if I'm not quite sure of the logistics of how that works :)

Jess is a clever girl. I think such a dress wouldn't be that difficult for her. The necklace on the other side might be a little harder.

Dropping down beside her panting a little from the sprint we had just done together, I extended a sable paw and stroked her cheek, saying "It would be a pleasure my dear. How did you get such glamorous accoutrements upon your beautiful body anyway."

She attempted to answer, but I silenced her by pressing our muzzles together, such information mattered not on a night like this. For she had come back into my life once more and we were together again after so long. At that moment I swore I would not let her leave again this time. Something that had pained my heart for the last 12 months.

This was a beautiful follow up to the original picture, and the way you set the scene was also very nicely done.

Thank you ^^ I think this and the original are still some of the pieces I'm most happy with.
