"Here I am," she said as we ran across the street in the pouring rain, stopping at a door that seemed to be both real and a figment of my imagination. "Oh... Just... Ignore the glow."

I nod my head a give her a smile and turn to leave.

"Ummm... " the girl called after me "...its raining really bad. Maybe you should come inside? To get warmed up first?"

I smile... bow my head for a moment in thanks... and leave.

Wow. That's one of the most expressive faces I've ever seen. Like the head shape is very evocative of a child, which is of course appropriate, but damn I just can't stop getting drawn in by those eyes. The wet hair is a look that I've never mastered myself, it's very gripping here and it gives me a great sense of what's narratively described below. The clothing has a heavily-seamed look which gives it a lot more weight than my stuff usually has. Also, I have to hand it to you, nothing looks more organic than an asymmetrical wedgie. That's just such a real thing you don't see in art much.

Thank you for this, it's very compelling!

Thank you very much. I enjoy drawing eyes and facial expressions. Sadly I tend to lock on some of them if I really enjoy them. I need to expand more. Kinda stole the shorts idea but I also thought it makes since that both sides wouldn't be exact. And I think it gives the pic a better feel.

Thank you very much for your feedback. If you have any negative info feel free to share in the future. I want to improve and learn to take helpful advice even if it hurts a bit.

Hm, negatives. Well, I guess I'd just say that her right arm looks a bit spindly in contrast to her other one. Proportions are one of those things that it takes a lot of work to keep consistent.
