Time to expand some of the Camp Pines universe with some more characters created by Seff and I! The Boyscouts! The heroes of the Great Panty Raid of '85 (more on that in the future)!
Situated on the western shore of the lake, opposite Camp Pines, Camp Chinook is the outdoors home of the local Troop 404 Boyscouts. The surrounding woods offer plenty of space for the Scouts to camp, hike, hone their skills, and earn their badges under the watchful auspices of Scoutmaster Roberts. Though his own son has long since graduated from scouting, Roberts still heads up the local scouting program, teaching the boys and their parents the skills they'll need to carry Scouting on for another generation. His stodgy, old-fashioned traditionalism can cause some friction with the Scouts' parents, but it's usually overlooked in the face of his impressive knowledge and the time and effort he puts into keeping the Camp and Troop running.
Samuel One of the Patrol Leaders in Troop 404, Sam is also the leader among his group of friends. Well up the upper-middle-class ladder thanks to his father's work as a lawyer, Sam has grown a sense of arrogance and entitlement as he has come of age. Those personality traits are balanced, somewhat, by his penchant for showboating and his excellent leadership skills. He loves organizing parties where his friends can come over to swim in his backyard pool or play video games with him in his furnished basement - them watching him do awesome flips off the diving board or suffering defeat against him in a video game is just a totally unintended side effect.
He can also be counted on to chase the girls with the biggest racks, but so far any success he has had with them has been immediately undercut by his massive ego. Frustrated by his inability to score with chicks, he has fallen prey to Matty's flirting and crossdressing. Teased to the breaking point, he has resorted to taking out his pent-up urges on the younger boy's behind. He justifies this bend in his heterosexuality by telling himself he's just "practicing" for when he finally makes it with a real girl. Despite his tendency to brag, he would argue that he's still a virgin; what he's done with Matty doesn't count and he would never admit to having done it anyway.
Gabriel Laid back and easy-going, Gabe is the joker of the group; always ready with a wisecrack, a sharp retort, or just a joke he memorized out of a magazine. If he were more motivated, he might try and wrest the title of Patrol Leader (and leadership of their group) away from Sam, but he cannot be bothered to do so. Instead, when Sam's arrogance starts to harsh Gabe's mellow, Gabe cuts him down to size with carefully-aimed verbal needles and the occasional reminder of when Sam's showboating has gone awry. Gabe prefers to focus on enjoying the freedom of the outdoors, picking up some useful skills and spending time with his friends, instead of worrying about the particulars of earning badges. He also enjoys weightlifting and high school wrestling, which qualifies him as the muscle of the group.
Gabe's quiet confidence, toned physique, and ability to make anyone smile with his jokes have served him well when it comes to relations with both sexes. He has a definite preference for girls, but topping for boys is second on his list. While he is comfortable with his bisexuality, he is happy to stay in the closet and keep most of his sexual exploits to himself. A little coaxing from his friends may get him to share some juicy details, but he always leaves out the names (and genders) of his casual flings.
Matthew Twiggy, effeminate, and soft from easy suburban living, Matty is not someone you would expect to find roughing it in the woods. Indeed, he is new to the group and to scouting. He grew up in the same neighborhood as Gabe, but their age difference kept them from becoming close friends until Matty joined the Scouts. Concerned over Matty's girlish-ness, Matty's father pushed him into Scouting in the hopes that it would butch him up and help him grow into manhood. Though he isn't the smallest in the group (Fizz holds that title) he is the least experienced and the least adept at outdoors activities, and he often struggles to pick up new Scouting skills and to keep up with physical challenges. Even when things are at their toughest for him he still tries hard and doesn't complain, so his new friends are always ready to help him out. Especially since he's the best campfire cook in the Troop.
Unfortunately for Matty's father, making him join Gabe in the Scouts did not work out the way he intended. Matty already knew he was gay, and the time spent with Gabe provided him with means and opportunity to experiment and really understand his sexuality. Like Gabe, Matty is not open about his orientation, but his power-bottom nature keeps driving him to flirt, tease, and push boundaries even at the risk of outing himself.
Fitzgerald Always composed and polite, Fitzgerald (Fizz to his friends) is the brains of the group. Not because he's simply more book-smart than the others (he is) or because he has more experience (he doesn't), but because of how daring and bold he's willing to think. When someone else might discount an idea as too out-there, too hard, too impossible, he'll mentally hammer at it, over and over, until he figures out a way to make it work. Or just go for it, throwing caution into the wind and doing what others are too timid to try. And if it doesn't work out... well, he can probably cover the damages with his allowance. His family is, after all, the wealthiest family in town. Unlike Sam, Fizz has the class to know that you shouldn't rub your family's good fortune and well-performing investments in other people's faces.
Fizz's small size and boyish looks have led many to underestimate him. Thoroughly perverted, it’s not uncommon for him to be sneaking a peek into the girl's locker room or "innocently" landing face-first in cleavage after tripping over his own shoelaces. He can get away with it too, because how could someone so young know any better? The downside is that this also works against him, as no girl will take his earnest advances seriously.
William Billy's overprotective parents have kept him so sheltered that not even growing up with Sam, Gabe, and Fizz as friends has tarnished his innocence. The consummate scout, Billy has taken the creed to do a good deed every day to heart. He can often be found helping old ladies across the street, volunteering for local charities, and helping Scoutmaster Roberts with maintaining Camp Chinook. His honest, upstanding nature is a double-edged sword to his friends; adults trust him, and if Billy is along his friends may not draw too much extra attention while they're out getting into trouble. When they do get into trouble, though, Billy's conscience will have him spilling his guts to the adults in no time.
Billy's truth-telling does not extend to every detail of his life. After moving across town into a new house in the Spring of ‘84, the next door neighbors—the Mitchells—came over to offer his family some housewarming presents and welcome them to the neighborhood. While the adults were talking, Kimber (the new girl-next-door) lured poor Billy back to his room for a little show and tell. Unfortunately for Billy, his parents walked in right in the middle of his very first blowjob, resulting in Kimber being banned from the house and Billy having an urgent obsession with getting the complete blowjob experience. Ashamed of his carnal needs, and of getting caught doing something naughty, Billy has yet to tell his friends about his chance encounter.
