After the guys rise from underground things seems to be safe for now but when a bird made a noise which attracted a serpent which notice them too. The guys ran as fast as they could near crowded trees hoping the creature won't get through. Running up hill to hill the serpent is right behind them moving fast and hungry. As soon as they get through the trees the serpent uses it's strength to break through the trees which forces the guys to fight back.
(Note: The Species is called a Sound Serpent it relies on its echo location to track the sounds of it's prey. The species also has very thick skin and hardly any led based weapons have no effect. Only energy based weapons like lasers have little effect on it.)
