Alvin starts fooling around with Simon's chemistry set in an attempt to make a homemade stink bomb because why pay for gags you can make them for free? Simon's "Alvin is gonna fuck something us" meter goes off and he rushes to his lab. He finds nothing there which worries him more because his chemistry set is gone. He searches around the house and eventually sees Alvin in the bathroom.

Simon demands that Alvin cease and desist but Alvin responds by saying he doesn't know what "desist" means and continues. Before Simon can rush in and stop him, Alvin accidentally causes an explosion. It destroys the bathroom and covers both him and Simon in a smelly, pink grunge of chemicals. Now both are sitting outside in a metal basin in their front-yard covered in bubbles as Theodore tries diligently to scrub the concoction (and the rank smell) out of their fur.

Simon is looking quite miffed at a rather sheepish Alvin. This is not helped by Alvin trying to "stealthily" use Simon as a chipmunk-shield against any Paparazzi that might show up. Right here, they haven't shown up yet but Alvin's anticipating it. They can't clean up in the destroyed bathroom after all. Theodore himself is wearing a clothespin on his nose and a clear trash bag over his swimsuit in an effort to make sure none of the repulsive mixture gets on him. Good idea.

Very nice. I greatly enjoyed this. Poor Simon, first he loses his chemistry set, now he's being used as a body double. Sadly, I don't think Dave will be too eager to replace the set. But thankfully good ol' Theodore is there to help his brothers out. Hopefully they'll remember the next time he winds up in an embarrassing position.
