I have been watching the TFS At The Table since the very first episode they put out of their D&D campaign back in October of 2017, here it is almost a full year later and so much has happened. This piece is my take on a very sad portion of the campaign where they had to say goodbye to the Yeldon, a magic talking Mimic ship. In the context of the game, the ship had been imbued with the soul of a dwarf 500 years previous in the campaigns timeline and when a very tragic event taking the life of one of the npc's that was apart of the PC's crew, the ship ended up losing its soul, becoming a feral beast of sorts, making it nothing more than a husk of it's former self and because Yeldon had the ability to eat most materials and then grow from it even sprouting new rooms, it was left with only the desire to eat other ships.
In Chapter 3 episode 13 of this campaign, Ezra Lockwood, Wake Scailbound and Elloy the asinine centaur set their ship ablaze and sent it to drift out into open waters where it burnt up before sinking.
Goodbye Yeldon, non of the fans will ever forget you.
all characters depicted were created by the DM and players of the campaign.
