Backing track by The Little Mermaid Karaoke and purchased on iTunes. Original song from the movie Hunchback of Notre Dame.

-----
Dipper discovers a Tribe reservation on the grounds of a casino.

-----
This chapter has two stories. I made a trip out to Oregon once, and in traveling from Portland to Tillamook, we passed a casino in the middle of nowhere.

That's when I found out about Casinos built on Native American land, and how they exploit the loophole in the law.

I also discovered that these casinos invariably make a deal with the tribal chief, and that chief all too often keeps the money for himself and the tribe gets nothing. I only wish that these tribes had means of removing their chief when they do that, without resorting to bloodshed (which was how they used to eliminate a chief who did not lead well). All too often their tyrannical ways manifest themselves in other injustices to their tribe.

The song is my favorite from the movie, and I still consider it a travesty that this song, and the soundtrack itself, were not nominated for Oscars.

It's dishonorable to destroy the building of your enemy's gods?  If it was up to me, I wouldn't have let them be built.

Gambling certainly is a bigger problem than people are.
