As previously stated, the golden tessen Gale/Tempest wields can be used as lethal weapons. Aside from whipping up powerful gusts and even tornados, when he throws them, their sharp metal edges can cut through Eggman's robots with ease thanks to the Chaos Energy inside of them. Like lethal boomerangs, they always return back to him, ready to slice down any other opponents.
Let it be known, though, that if the yukata comes off, those fans won't be the only thing cutting their way through swathes of enemies.
