Illusive: Mom, why are we here? Are we visiting Aunt Twilight?

Thorax: N-no, Spike is dealing wit- I mean, spending time with her. He just sent us out to get some food for her.

Illusive: I don't get why her fridge was so empty. Doesn't she go shopping? It's fun to shop with Siri and Sky.

Thorax: Yeah but she is... dealing with some stuff right now.

Illusive: Stuff? Like what?

Thorax: I'm not sure but she tastes disgusting. She has so little love in her and Spike is wor- I mean, I'll tell you when your older, grub.

Illusive: [pout] How much older do I have to be to know all the cool grown up stuff?

Thorax: Older. Now do mommy a favor and- [stops in place and starts hissing]

Illusive: Mom?

Thorax: Fang, get behind me. Now. [Steps forward, openly hissing at another changeling] Get out of here, you blue blooded bastard!

Kevin: .:Who are you calling a bastard, you slimy son of a whore:.

Thorax: The queen is not a whore! She is amazing and power and stronger than your weak hive. You're lucky the queen is so merciful or else she would have eaten your pathetic hive like it was a light snack.

Kevin: .:Hah! As if she could even find us. She couldn't even effectively infiltrate a single pony city. I've been here for years and no one has even noticed me yet. Yet the 'amazing' queen got beat by a pair of weakened newlyweds. :.

[The two kept arguing, though it was mostly just a series of unclear hissing. The foals standing beside them looked on with confusion.]

Illusive: ...Huh. Hey, do you know why our moms are fighting?

Victor: No clue. I'm not even sure what their saying. What's a whor- Wait, moms? He not my... Do you call him your mom?

Illusive: Yeah, of course I do. What else would you call the parent who gave birth to you?

Victor: ...Good point. I don't know what my dad is hissing about but this is boring.

Illusive: Yeah. Oh, you want to go buy some roasted almonds? I've got a bunch of bits.

Victor: Sure. Where did you get them. Your mom give them to you?

Illusive: Nope, I found them.

Victor: You found 20 bits? Where?

Illusive: In a bunch of ponies pockets.

Victor: Isn't that stealing?

Illusive: No. Dad calls it 'borrowing with no intention of returning'. It's different.

Illusive Spark is a bit of a thief. It's his dragon nature, pushing him to claim things that belong to others as his own. He doesn't mean to do it but sees little wrong with his actions.

This is just a little thing I wanted to do cause I was thinking about Kevin and Thorax. Some folks think they are the same. I'm not one of those folks, since they have different color eyes and shells. So this got me thinking that maybe they are from different hives and therefore, don't get along. Upon meeting one another, they both sought to protect their child cause I theorize that changeling grubs can be taken and converted to another hive if captured by a rival hive. Kevin feels threatened by Thorax and decides to distract him from his child and Thorax does the same. Despite them both splitting off from their hive, the loyalty they feel toward their queen is impossible to let go, so they strive to defend her honor from their rival.

Victor and Illusive don't feel the call to their queen since they're hybrids. Illusive is more dragon-like so he is fairly independent and Victor can't hear changeling telepathy so he can't hear the call anyway.

Note: Victor is the son of Scootaloo and Kevin.
