Personality

Anansi is a loner, preferring to be alone to weave his own brand of chaotic magic. Unlike his sister, his relationship with his father is not loving or close. He is generally apathetic to others, prefering to learn more about his powers. Despite this apathy, he enjoys the company of his mother because she teaches him new and unique magic than nopony can make. He enjoys messing with others, experimenting with his magic and taking naps. He can usually be found curled up in a tree somewhere with his pet coatl.

Background/History

He was born by accident, through a kind of affair between his parents. He was later left on Zecora's doorstep by an distant Discord. While Zecora understood why he did this, Anansi has resented his father because of this. Worse yet is that its only after the birth of his sister that the bastard begins living with them. Of course, this leads Anansi to attempting to kill his new born sister in order to keep Discord from his mother and him. He fails, being bested by her wild magic.

Some time after this failure, he attempted to train his magic so that he could be strong enough to kill his sister. He never tried to fight his father since he had age and experience over him. As he trained himself, he ended up outside of the Everfree forest. Seeing a chance to practice on sentient creatures, Anansi wove a giant net over Ponyville, gathering within the memories of the townspony. He then randomly gave the ponies the memories he held, as well as weaving all new ones. This caused chaos as ponies tried to figure out what was really their memories and what was not theirs. This lasted for only a few hours but after he was caught by the mane six, namely Twilight, she used her magic to forcibly bind him within the confines of the Everfree Forest.

Now he can never go past it's borders.
