Well, it's already confirmed* Reg is named after Lyza's Dog Reg AND Riko's Dog Reg as they both had the same dog. Faputa and Lyza had the Same Shota Bot Reg which leads to 2 options, Lyza named Reg after her dog because she is a confirmed troll, Just like Riko did, OR he IS Lyza/Riko's former dog and is part of the price paid to give him life. :/
I'm more in the He's Part Dog camp because it would be interesting.
