I'm wrong with Classic style Sonic ... I think it's Mania's fault, especially the Plus ... I miss Amy classic ;w;
I would like it if someday they made another 2D Sonic, I would love Amy Classic to come back, I miss her a lot <3

I miss seeing Amy in the 2-D games as well, especially classic Amy since the closest thing are the Sonic 1, 2 and 3 & Amy hacks by E-122 psi which are pretty well done.

I always thought that leaving Amy out was a huge mistake and a missed opportunity from part of both Sonic Team and Taxman, since unlike Mighty and Ray, Amy was a more important part of the franchise, with a gameplay style that up to this day I think is a very clever twist that proves how characters can be more than just "copy all of Sonic's signature moves, throw in one or two extra moves and call it a day".

Hopefully, we'll get to see Amy return to the spotlight and playable, since she deserves the chance to shine again.
