"The lantern his only light, he stepped forward into the darkness."

Eric Stawnwood, in essence the first character I really ever set up.
He has been through many changes over the years, but I suppose I just can't let him go.
For a very long time I've been trying to write out a fantasy story with him in it.
I still hope to succeed.
I might start putting some snippets of it online - hope that would make a feedback loop that would help me sit down and write more.
Now I'm rambling.

So, he's in a medieval era world? And he's obviously not a rich fox, too, despite the fact that he owns a sword. I'd love to see a few snippets of your story so far. Maybe I can make some suggestions for your story. (I'm a bit of a writer myself.)

Yes, he's not a rich fox. Sword's the most valuable item he has.

And I'm considering putting up some parts of the story. Get opinions and such.

If you've never read my story "Marooned on Tashoo" which I've got posted on my page here, maybe you should consider reading it. My protagonist in that story finds himself marooned on a world that never left the Medieval Era and has been in that era for over 160,000 years.
