It's summer and down here in Florida, one really feels that. While summer has never been my favorite time of the year, mainly due to that reason I have always had a soft spot for Super Mario Sunshine; maybe not the most popular of opinions, but when have I ever really had one of those?

While it certainly has it's flaws, I always really enjoyed the change of pace from traditional Mario games, as well as a more legit challenge in gameplay which is not a common theme in that series; much as I love it, it is mind numbingly easy sometimes. However, what I truly love about Sunshine was it's overall aesthetic. The game is so pretty looking and reminds me of all the things I do love about summer and tropical areas and I usually make it a point to play this game during the summer, this year not being an exclusion to that (as is obvious since I drew this)

So, to commemorate summer and it's slowly approaching end, I tossed this together. The lighting and water effects where a bitch and a half to get right but I think it turned out okay in the end.
