another ArtFlow thing, this time I wanted to see how far I could get with the tools but still the coloring didn't look that good compared to what I do on my computer
This is good for sketching or painting tho.

I used some references for doing this, not really part of my likes but wanted to try because this requires having skill on perspective so here's the result

Have you tried out Medibang Paint? It's what I use for my phone art and it can be pretty powerful. So far it's the only art app I've tried that actually gets close enough to the feature-set of Clip/Sai to enable me to polish up my art to a level where you can't tell it was done on a phone~

https://inkbunny.net/s/1567587 https://inkbunny.net/s/1504450 there's a couple I did without any external tools, just Medibang alone. My boyfriend uses the same program on a Note 3 (I'm doing it on a Note 8) and it still works great there.

I have it installed but haven't got used to it, the strokes feel slow and the UI is a bit cluttered with a lot of things taking screen space which I don't understand yet.

A friend also recommended me Medibang, eventually I might use it

Yeah, there's a lot to pack in there so it does take some getting used to. I could help out a bit finding the right settings!

-Slowness with strokes might be the "correction" setting (it's basically the same as stability in most art programs). In the toolbar at the top-left, there should be a button to let you adjust that. (You can toggle that bar on/off with the pencil icon at the very bottom) I usually keep it at 3, but even then it's a bit heavy-handed. At the maximum value it would actually seem like the program's broken, so that's probably where the issue is coming from. You can probably drop it down to 0 or 1.

-The buttons at the bottom mostly toggle menus, but there's also a floating menu (with the dots on the right side) that's pretty handy. You can mess with what you want to show up on that menu in the settings but it lets you access certain tools without needing to pop open the top bar.

-Top bar is your tool selection. The palette icon at the bottom is your brush and color selector menu. The stacked squares open a layer menu. Most things you can find just by tapping around but what eluded me for the longest was how to change settings for your brushes. For that, select the brush you want and tap the little 'gear' icon on the right side. Depending on the type of brush you will see different settings in there, and there's plenty to mess with.

-You can enable the volume buttons to act as undo/redo. This can get a bit hand-crampy, but for my art process it's vital that I'm able to quickly undo without breaking my flow.

I do hope that helps! I know I had a bit of a tough time figuring out this program at first but I'm so glad to have it around now.
