It was mostly intended to be a joke pic rather than spark a conversation on programming, but he's probably thinking along the lines of Ruby (Rails/Sinatra), Python (Django) or Javascript (server-side with Node.js, or even primarily client-side business logic and templating using something like Backbone).

I note that he doesn't have a leg to stand on right now - and that's what's tasty about the pic. As for the coding, I'm happy to just consider him someone who strongly prefers another language :)
