Scootaloo is a bit dull in colour.
But, she has a small bow on her panties, that's what's important. Although the bow could have been a little more visible.

You know what, why not try making digital art? The pencil drawing is the sketch/base, then you make a digital drawing on top of that.

I suspect the colour is lacking precisely because this is a graphite sketch. Sometimes I like to just do a rough little sketch in my pocket sketchbook, and as such I can't ink 'n paint it even if I do want to touch it up a bit afterwards.

I also don't enjoy creating artwork digitally, so that's not going to happen.

But if someone else would like to make digital versions of these images, would that be possible?

If one has difficulty making things out for what they are, the results could be questionable, but it's certainly possible to make some digital versions for one's self. Considering some recent altercations (art theft; nazis) I'm not going to outright encourage public 'enhancements'.

If that sounds political, it's probably because it is, haha. :D

The best way would be that if someone were to make a digital version in good spirit, show it for you and you can approve it for publication.

I don't want people to be disappointed, so that's not ideal either. Especially if it's flat digital colours I'm always gonna prefer the sketch, having more depth, but that shouldn't invalidate the work put in. It also doesn't address the other concerns I have, but I think it's probably not worth thinking about too much: not many people going around fiddling with my sketches anyway. :D
