A little fox devouring a shroom that almost certainly can't be good for him. But still, a gesture of appreciation for all the hours keeping me company while doodling, and for reassuring me that reaching my 30s ain't so bad after all.
A big focus in this piece was subtle color gradient. There's an enchanting depth that can come out of just delicately mixing in a complementary color, and I want to play around with this a lot more when the chance presents itself.
All pertinent apologies to Beth Cavener (who's showing in New York at the moment).
