I like to think at least one of my watchers has been waiting to see this lineup.
An image I actually started a few months ago. I just... drew Stone and then never got back to it.
So here we have them all. Four of the science ladies who were transformed into the Elementals by a freak accident. They were researching Subject 4, but during one of their tests they received a huge dose of Subject 4's energy.
Flame, a bit pear shaped, and the youngest member of the team. She was born blind to a family that made some poor choices in life. Her only solace from the dreary life she had was to study. Her intelligence earned her a scholarship quite easily, and after college and university, she went off to work for the Department of Biological Mutation Research as an intern, paid in room and board. After the accident, and being classified a Class 2 Mutant, (powers known, upper limit moderate,) she had the gift of sight, invulnerability to flames, and the ability to produce flammable gasses she could light with a click from her teeth. She has less interest in her powers, and more in discovering all that the world around her has the offer.
Stone, who's shaped more like a marshmallow. The oldest member of the team, and the senior scientist that was present at the accident. Her fields mostly include biomedical engineering and chemical biology. Her intelligence is only matched by her friendly charm, which rivals a Sunday Cartoon. She's the only member of the team who is gay, successfully married, and lives off base. Her powers, classified at Class 4 Mutant (powers known, unknown upper limit,) include the manipulation of rock and other hard matters. These powers are completely reliant on her willpower, and allow her a great many gifts. She can also change her own density, allowing herself to take almost any blow, and deal very hard attacks.
Storm, who's shaped like an iron beam... is the second oldest of the team. Orphaned as a child, she grew up in a foster system that afforded her great education opportunities. Married for a few years before the accident, she had always been trying to have children... but after the accident, she found out they had all been rendered infertile, and her husband filed for divorce. Ever since the divorce, her temper has flared up more and more often. She's been named the official leader of the team after her aptitude test, and after Stone turned the position down. A Class 4 Mutant like stone, her powers include a super-charged system of electrodes in her body. She generates and controls electricity, able to produce and project it based on her muscular control. She's able to heal rapidly, and leap a very far distance in a single jump.
Frost, who's more hourglass shaped, is the second youngest of the team. She was born to a large family, but after her father died, she ended up staying with her uncle, who works for the Department of Biological Mutation Research, and was able to get a job there with two of her cousins. While not a very good scientist, her specialty lies more in abstract thinking... and looking her best. Frost has signed for a number of modeling deals, appearing in magazines, TV shows, and even her own line of lingerie. A Class 3 Mutant (powers known, upper limit fair,) she is able to reduce the temperature of particles rapidly. She can create blocks of ice from the air very quickly, and uses it to form melee weapons when she goes in for hand to hand combat. She hasn't quite gotten the "ice flight" down yet, but she once was able to make an "ice catwalk."
