The Hive Defenders have two main purposes, defending long range units behind them by making a barrier with their legs and ,should it be called, they make a effect siege weapon. Their indestructible legs protecting them as their maws rapid fire small bots of acid against walls and structures, slowly melting them down. They are unfortunately nearly defenseless against ground units that may get under them, as their soft undersides are rarely armored.
