Here's the creepy icon I slapped together for a story in MediBang Paint in like three minutes. Painting in a halftone layer is kind of neat but also weird. I have to do it again.
In Medibang you can just add a halftone layer with whatever line screen you want then paint in it with gray shades. It's stupid easy. The character and background screens are at two different settings here.
