Dji'uo, or more commonly reffered to as Zero, is a 19 year old Snow Leopard boy. Born as a son to a chieftain, Sahïr of the Chit'vani tribe. The tribe lived in the isolated icy mountains. The Chit'vani were a group of people dedicated to rebirthing the preserved souls of ancient dragons by using their offspring as their reincarnations. Zero was set to give his body to a dragon named Naveddah. Zero woke up one day, remembering very little and witnessing that his village was now destroyed. His ritual with Naveddah was incomplete, meaning that their souls were bound inside one body. Naveddah also had no memory as to the causation of the village's destruction. Zero looked around and could find no one. All he could find was a family heirloom, a beautiful rapier.
Zero wandered for almost a year, Naveddah helping him to adapt to his new surroundings. One day, Zero met the young Crown Prince Michael.
