You correctly read the situation and apologize. "Sorry if this seems a little weird, I'm just waiting to meet someone for a movie and got bored." You pull out your phone and check the time. It's 9:44, so Rumble should be arriving at any moment. "You haven't seen a pegasus colt with a gray coat and bluish-black mane, have you?"
The sandy colored colt seems to relax a bit. "Rumble? No, I haven't. He's seeing a movie with you?"
"I help him study a lot, so we've just become friends over time and now we hang out. I'm sorry if I was bothering you, I'll let you be on your way." You give your head a little bow and begin to turn away.
"Oh you're not...I-I'm just a little shy is all, heh." He gives an embarrassed little
smile with his buck teeth showing off.
You sit down on the grass next to him. "Is it alright if I ask about your camera then? Is it a pretty good model?"
"Yeah! It's a Ponan 4k, i-it's got a 40 times zoom and takes pictures at 4000 pixel
resolution!" The colt's seemed to open up a whole lot more now. The two of you talk for a short while about how he got started in photography, what angles and compositions he loves, and how he was able to buy this expensive one by taking pictures freelance.
You try to ask if you can see some of his photos, and it looks as if he's struggling to come up with an excuse in his mind before his eyes catch onto something. He waves a hoof at someone away from you and yells out. "Hey Rumble!"
You hear the soft flapping of wings and look up to see Rumble landing in front of you two. "Uh, hey Featherweight. I didn't know you knew Muds." Rumble gives you this look as if he knows you're up to something.

"Did you already get the tickets?" You pull them out of your bag to answer Rumble. He rubs one hoof over the other. "Could we uh, get some snacks inside?"
