So some of the Thunderclaws that did turn over a new leaf died off pretty quickly since they soon found out that there were plenty of Dracaran diseases that killed quickly. Plus that and there weren't enough girls to make babies since girl Thunderclaws tended to not be foot soldiers but engineers and spies. There have been some successes with other Thunderclaws since then but not enough to turn the tide.
