it's not gonna happen.... sorry to ruin your hopes, but that's how nintendo is....... plus shadow's moves for smash bros would end up being the same as sonic's, so there's no point of having him as a playable character. he's just gonna be a assist trophy like always.

In the end that’s all I can do is hope it could happen, I normally would just mod him in but it’s too risky to mod on the switch with the chance that Nintendo will ban your account if you mod your Switch.
