Well, that's more interesting than anything I could have imagined, in some regards. I'm not sure how to exactly word this, but I'm impressed at the creativity of the thought of that situation turning into this.

Well considering how badly wet fur can mess with their ability to regulate temperature...especially the long hair breeds, unless it's really hot out, you only want to bathe them if it's for serious cleaning of something out of their fur that you do not want them ingesting during washing.
