<-- This 1974 model doesn't remember much about the Adam West edition of Batman, I only ever saw maybe one or two episodes. Perhaps the TV stations in my area rarely ran those? I do remember them showing reruns of the original Star Trek.

The one and only female Robin in the series was raped by Batman himself around the 1980's comic. Batman said It was done to prove a point. She stayed on as Robin for a couple of years (Comic years, not real years) until the Joker beats the shit out of her and she retires. This happens after the death of the Second Robin: Jason Todd. She saved Bruce Wayne when he retired because of Jason's death and influenced Batman into taking her as Robin.
Strange- the Death of Jason Todd Robin happens after the female Robin happens but it was stated thats what happned though Jason Todd's name was not mentioned; only that 'Robin was killed...'
Gee... I'm really showing my age in that one! OK, there was another female Robin, but she is of the later generation set and I know nothing of her.

I don't know anything about the events of which you speak. Given the time issues you're talking about, you're probably talking about Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns, which was published in the 1980s but was placed in the future (so Robin had died in that future, but not in the regular comics yet). A girl (Carrie Kelly) saves Batman's life and becomes the new Robin as Batman leaves retirement in that story, but I remember no rapes....

I know in some comics Batman is portrayed as a really dark person, even going so far as to threaten Robin's life if he got in the way, but raping a girl to prove a point? That seems vey farfetched. No clue if it's true or not though.
Bah! Now I got caught in it lol

It wouldn't have to be sexual at all. They could be sharing the same crowded space--like a chimney or some such--trying to get at a badguy and kick his face in. More silly, less naughty.
