Scraps

This was based on the terraced rice fields in the Hoàng Liên Mountains around Sa Pa, even if I wasn’t able to capture the beauty at all.

I also snuck in a khăn rằn scarf, though it’s a bit inaccurate. Sa Pa is in the far north of Vietnam while the scarf is a southern Vietnamese thing. Ah well!

Aw sweet! Always a treat to see arts that featured Vietnam.

Also, no wonder the "towel" (scarf) looks so familiar. I've seen those before on some of my farmer aunts and uncles, after all.

I wish I'd done a lot of things differently when I was doing these, but researching Vietnam and its history is not one of them! :3
