Character Description
Damian has silver hair styled in a soft Mohawk, and deep yellow eyes. She has dark, nearly black skin with segment lines going up to her shoulders. She has no nose, ears, or belly button (though in place of where a belly button may be is a slit where she can lay eggs from). And her feet are literally shaped like boots.
Personality
Damian is short-tempered and hot-headed. More importantly, she is very opinionated and would gladly rain on everyone’s parade if she could. She’s blunt, but she also has trouble putting her feelings into words. Despite how easily angry she can get, she has a lot of self control, especially around superiors. She couldn’t live without taking risks, but none of them are reckless. Most of the time, she can put her trust in Chives, and that’s good enough for her.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: Women, children, teasing Chives, feeling safe, soft things;
Dislikes: Formalities, sitting things out, laziness, liars, upper class culture;
Background/History
Before Damian met Chives, she was forever reserved and quiet. She wouldn’t dare voice an opinion when it wasn’t her place to do so. Such is the usual power dynamic for middle class citizens like her. After she was assigned to work on Chives’ crew for the first time, he managed to push all the right buttons. Damian has enough self control not to blurt things out when she knows she shouldn’t, but she’s bad at hiding her feelings, so it became obvious to Chives that he was pissing her off.
Rather than tell her to “know her place,” Chives encouraged her to speak her mind. He helped her feel comfortable giving her thoughts, and this naturally led to their relationship improving. The fact that she cusses at him and calls him names is the biggest sign that he has her trust, and Damian feels like she owes a lot of her happiness to Chives, because now she can at least be herself during missions.
