In this picture my fursona Domineus Dan is showing off a new sword he just smithed. My fursona makes his own swords and armor and keeps getting better each time, always adding something new and improved. The spunk he is mentioning that is in the blade is an innate ability to add explosive damage to the cuts made by the blade for extra damage. ^\/^.
The picture was done on and off, starting on a plane ride back from the family reunion / cruise I went on back in June. It remained a rough sketch and was worked on from time to time whenever I had nothing better to do. Originally he was skinnier, but was made thicker, with the seam on the side of his armor indicating what the original width was. At one of my niece's birthday party I worked on it more, and finally inked the picture. Seeing how it looked so cool, I decided to color it in a traditional manner using my ink pens, colored pencils and blending the two together. The result was then scanned, cleaned of damage taken over time, improved in color and the result is as shown. I then added a phrase which inspired the name of the picture. The phrase itself was inspired by my mother remarking the hot / spicy nature of a soup she was making with hot peppers from the garden. ^\/^.
