This doodle turned drawing was slowly built up over the better part of 3 weeks.  Mainly done on Sunday when I had time for this; the drawing is basically a cutaway of a section of Domineus Dan's family manor in the capital.

There are two main entrances to the manor, one for the commoners and one for the upper class.  This side is for the upper class and much more elaborate than the one not shown.

The right hand side extends from the outside and up a large staircase made of solid marble of varying colors, decked with golden statues and reliefs.  The outside staircase climbs to the height of a modern, average height, ten storied building.

The middle section has a foyer with a symetrical curved staircase on either side.  It is two floors in height, in the manor that is.  Above the foyer are grand apartments and rooms overlooking the outside staircase, boulveyard and gardens beyond.  There are many such rooms in the manor and each are gilded and highly elaborate in their decorations.  Between the two curved staircases is an open entrance area to other internal rooms on the same level, of which they are not drawn here.

On the left hand side is about the middle of this section of the manor.  Further left would lead to the commoners entrance and area.  A door from this grand foyer (not shown) leads to a grand hall for the elite to travel to the throne room and offices of the Grand General, Dephensor Dan.

On the otherside of this door in the grand foyer is a huge and elaborate stained glass window 8 floor in height.  Beyond this window is a long courtyard and gardens open to everyone visiting.

The doors on the right hand side of the window lead to hallways going directly from the foyer to the other side of the long courtyard.  What is not shown is that on the right hand side of the hallways is another much thinner courtyard that brings light to the windows on the right hand side of the doors (that are shown in the picture).  On the other side of the doors, by which are not shown, are another set of hallways that lead to other rooms and apartments that are part of the administrative section of the manor.  There is no courtyard on this side however.  If one saw the layout of the manor in my mind, one would understand.  I just may make a plan for the manor one day, if it were not so grand and need of a large sheet of paper.  LOL.  ^\/^.

The last bit of the grand staircase, that is in the grand foyer, has stairs on either side leading to a mid level and balcony that opens to the apartments and rooms above the first foyer.  In the middle of the balcononies mention, except the very top one, is another slightly wider staircase leading to another balconied area that leads to the next section of the stair case and the doors leading to the upper hallways.

At the very top of the grand foyer is a quadruple domed ceiling that leads to a tower and cupola that lets in light in the middle.  It is most unfortunate that I had no room to draw said light well.  Above the apartments are meant to be an attic area under the roof.  I did not bother to draw this area.  ^\/^.

The large cavernous area beneath all this grandness are a set of rooms meant for the making, storage and testing of weapons, armor, and other stuff related to the defense of the empire.  There are also labs to test how to defeat, defend agains, contain and otherwise handle the many types and forces of evil.  These are not the only places for such activities.  In fact, this area is a private section that the general, and occasionally Domineus Dan, uses.  It is not a secret that it is there, but still for official use only and defended well.  This area, when the manor was first purchased by the Dan family years ago, was a labyrinth of rooms and halls that used to hold the private jail, storage, servant and officer quarters and other things.

After the Dan family moved into the manor years ago, the manor made specifically for the grand general of the empire, Dephensor Dan remodeled extensively and added to the manor.  The underground area, largely looking like swiss cheese on the layout of the manor's plan, was largely hollowed out, reinforced and made into an ultra advanced private research and smithing area, as well as storage.  The manor no longer houses a private jail as before, especially since it was not used much to begin with.

The manor was then doubled in size and length.  The picture here used to have been one side of the manor with the current administrative section being the old manor.  The addition of the new section made what was once one of the sides of the manor into the middle section of the manor.  The old apartments and grand rooms where made into the private offices of the grand general.

The old dining hall and ballroom was retrofitted and remodeled as the grand general's throne room to handle the public and their requsts and questions during the time when the activity is being done.  The old greenhouse was remade into the new ballroom and the new dining hall is in the new section of the manor.

The rooms that once housed the private quarters of the grand general and family was remade into the qurters for the manor's staff.  The new quarters for the manor's security is now in the towers along the newly remade walls surrounding the estate.  Inside the manor there are new security rooms and checkpoints for the guards to work at while in the manor.  the new quarters for the grand general and his family are in the new section of the manor.

The new section of the manor has larger and more open rooms and staircases.  It has many multileveled courtyards and gardens.  There are also terraces on one side, overlooking the gardens and path that leads to the stairs above, that have a sheer drop off ten floors or higher.  On the ground level along the pathed area are a line of garages for the fleet of many vehicles that include military, regular private vehicles and areas for guests and elite visitors needing a space to park.  The area that the new section of the manor is built on used to have been a large rocky outcropping that jutted out somewhat.  The area the property is built on is relatively steep and hugs a mountain along with other high ranking elite families of the empire.  On top of the mountain, the top houses the palace of the royal family, which is built of sections that are either sheered off to make for flat building room or hugging the mountain along the path leading to the top.  ^\/^.

The name of the manor is currently Dantehum Manor and it has the same name as the ancestral lands and town that Domineus Dan's ancestors come from.  The 'tehum' part of the name comes from the Adlerian word for 'place', 'home', and 'town'.  The meaning of which depends on usage.  The 'Dan' part should be obvious.  LOL.  ^\/^.

On another last note, the area of the ground floor in the grand foyer; where the first bit of stairs is at and shown, was drawn a while back in another picture of mine.  That pictures is the one called The Kids (ILA):  (  https://www.furaffinity.net/view/6797106/  ).  In that picture, one can get a good close up look of the area where the stairs from the first foyer curve and lead up to the grand foyer.  The picture is meant to be in the style of a family painting / protrait of the grand general Dephensor Dan's grandchildren.  ^\/^.
