In this picture, I have a baby griffon peaking out from a Christmas stocking with a big Christmas bow around his neck.  He loves Christmas and is just gushing with love and joy.  He is playful and managed to get a bow on himself and into the stocking for a lovingly cute presentation as though to say Merry Christmas.  ^\/^.

This is a picture I made specifically for Christmas.  It is fully traditional from start to colored finish.  I drew the picture using the lightest grade of my pencils.  I then colored the picture using a combination of colored Crayola pencils, Crayola crayons, Faber-Castille colored brush pens and a mechanical pencil to differentiate some areas and to draw the fluff on the Christmas stocking.

The Christmas stocking has poinsettias drawn on it.  I was going to make it plain red, but the idea came right before I was going to color it in.  After doing the poinsettias, I did a green checkered pattern instead of a monotone green.  To make the stitching look realistic, I drew in the threads with a mechanical pencil and carefully ereased at key parts.

Some areas are colored with a combination of brush pen, colored pencil and crayon to differing degrees.  The highlighted parts of his fur, bow and everywhere else was carefully considered ahead of time and either left uncolored or simply scarcely colored.  The carefulness needed made this project take about a month to make and I can assure everyone that, after making cards with this picture at Kinkos, it makes for a wonderful Christmas card on the photo paper and scaled down while sitll in high definition.  ^\/^.
