This is a picture that came about one day from when I got the idea of what a furry edition of the anime Fist of the Northstar would look like. With many of the styles of martial arts in the anime named after a bird or other animal much of the time, I imagined Kenshiro, being the top fighter and hero, to be in the form of the lord over all other birds, an eagle. And, with many of the goons Kenshiro faces off against acting like wild dogs or similar, I imagined them as anthro canines. The one pictured here would be an anthro wolf in the usual 1980's post apacolyptic bad guy clothing. The eagle Kenshiro is wearing similar clothing from the series and rendered to look different. If colored, I would color it in the correct way. ^\/^.
In this picture, the furry version of Kenshiro has just done one of his signature moves that involves poking the middle part of the head of his opponnent in between the eyes. Kenshiro then says his usual line of "You dont' know it, but you're already dead.". The bad guy, while still holding a metal pipe or batton (one of the most common weapons of the bad guys amongst the general mobs, along with crossbows in the series) reacts with one of the usual responses of "What?!?!".
What generally happens next would be Kenshiro walking away bad ass like while the bad guy explodes in the background with blood and guts going all about. LOL. ^\/^.
On a personal note, I particularily like how I rendered the pants and gloves on the bad guy. Looks just like shiny leather as intended.
The move being protrayed here is the North Star Shoot Down Finger (北斗撃墜指 Hokuto Gekitsuishi?). The name shown was retrieved from a list of moves from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hokuto_Shinken and is located about half way down the list near the middle.
