I love how this is turning out thus far. I especially like how I did the difference in tones and saturation on the cape and main armor area, especially the middle area. To make it more stunning looking I reversed the order like how the blue on the cape goes from dark to light whereas the green goes from light to dark in the same layers of the cape. LOL. ^\/^.
I was going to make the blade gray, but, since D. Dan's blade is blue and thus having color, I decided to add color other than a plain black and white. Since the scythe looked organic and the other scythes I have seen in NES1300's gallery looks organic, I decided to color the blade areas in a green tone like that of a stylized blade made to look like a leaf or blade of grass. I find that made sense since the scythe blade looks like a blade of grass and the swirly thing on top looks like a grass or vine wrapped on top. In addition the bottom halberd area has what looks like a stylized bunch of grass in the design area. All this is unintentional, but a good one at that. (The sharp areas are the light green areas of both ends of the scythe). LOL. ^\/^.
I colored the eyebrow yellow since, of all the pictures NES1300 has so far posted, his hair when colored beyond the gray is colored yellow. As such I colored his eyebrow yellow since I am not coloring his hair beyond gray and his eyebrows tend to be just lines when NES1300 draws his fursona. LOL. ^\/^.
The color choice for the armor is based upon the general colors used in many of the pictures that NES1300 has so far posted upon his gallery. In addition, his eyes are colored blue based upon the color of the eyes shown upon his icon. LOL. ^\/^.
The only thing on here that is not flat colors, besides the background and my logo, is the eye on the head by which I already applied a gradient to to make the character seem less dead and, in addition, more Manga / Anime like. LOL. ^\/^.
