These are the roughs associated with the pictures 'New D. Dan Colored' at https://www.furaffinity.net/view/2622175/ and 'D. Dan's Armor Reference Sheet' at https://www.furaffinity.net/view/2585685/ . I had a few different ideas for this piece but decided on a new look for D. Dan because I wanted a look that was easier to redo later. Plus I already have a picture with D. Dan during the summer time and that period was very much ending. Not much for wearing swimwear in the fall. LOL. ^\/^.
I do plan, however, to reuse a few of these later. D. Dan looks good in swimwear after all. Then again he looks good and downright sexy in anything. LOL. ^\/^.
I just got an idea for a paper doll as I write these words. LOL. ^\/^.
I also just noticed that from a distance the last pieces of scrap drawings used in the process, when combined in such a way, look like a smiling kitty with one whisker on each cheek. LOL. ^\/^/
In the last figure I very much over did it in the details and had to tone it down. As such I retraced only the areas I wanted to change and then copy and paste carefully over the over did areas. The results are in the finished works. ^\/^.
