An alternate take on a scene from "Luna Eclipsed," where Luna visits Fluttershy for advice. Whether this would be true or not, this seems like something Pinkie might do anyway. Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed in Pinkie in this episode. It was established in "Griffon the Brush Off" that she makes a special point of easing up with her pranks when she knows the target is especially sensitive, and Luna had no idea she was just kidding around.

The best I can figure it is that Pinkie does not intentionally try to hurt other ponies' feelings, but she is also extremely out of tune with what they are feeling.

I wonder what became of that egg.

That makes sense.

I'm hoping it was just a prop egg she'd been hiding in her costume for the right moment... or pulled out of a 4th wall dimensional portal generated from her Pinkie powers, who knows? Either way, it was either A) cleaned up and tossed out with the rest of the festival trash, B) nabbed by Pinkie later when no one was looking, C) vanished back into the 4th wall dimensional Pinkie-powered portal, or D) if it was actually a real egg, scrambled or sunny-side up!

That was a rather nice touch, though it took me a really long time to realize Applebloom was even there. Someone else had to point it out, and then it took me a while of staring at a screenshot before I saw the tattered bow on the back of her head.
