God, I wish this could be an actual game. Why can't SEGA include the Freedom Fighters in any of the games?

Because SEGA Japan (and I guess SEGA, period) doesn't want to acknowledge Archie/DiC.

Well, that just shows what a bunch of morons they are. Passing up good characters like this and giving us totally random ones, most of which are either despised or forgotten altogether.
