Considering it's a controversial topic in the fandom, the crewniverse should improve the direction imo coz i think the lack of it causes the inconsistent art style and i'm sure there's no official height chart of characters right? Not just that. When the animation studio received the character sheets, there were only the characters. No guidelines, notes, instructions, nothing. That's probably why it's so inconsistent. Still, that's only one of many reasons why I just can't get into it, like Steven being a spoiled brat and the Gems never telling him anything about what's going on until he already finds out himself.
