A little bit of me believe that pokemon she's holding should be ash's but I guess she could be like hold the baby of Her and Ash

Technically, you're right. Ash found the egg and pretty much took care of it. It was only by accident that Togepi saw Misty first and took to her. Oh, well. That's life, I guess.

That's beautiful. I not only like the figurine, I like the amount of geekery that is the background. Misty posting in front of a stack of NES cartridges and a few rock show ticket stubs!

How on earth do you sand those fine details, like her hair and fingers? Everything's so smooth and free of 3d-print layer lines! How do you do it?

you actually have to use 3 types of sandpaper..  the bold and a very thin one with water..  there will be yet inperfections,  I usually fill those with super glue and then more sanding (but in U.S. there are far more interesting stuff for filling and patch)..  I also use regular bondo and sanding..   lot of sanding,   :P (I don't use acetone or any other chemical apart fromt he superglue and sometimes bondo)

btw.. for details I use dremel sometimes (a drill like tool with  circular rotatory sanpaper like tip.. don't know the name on english)

We just call that a Dremel, or a "rotary tool". Thanks for the info about your technique, sounds like a lot of meticulous work!

Absolutely amazing. I admire the proportions and likeness of your figures, first pics look like you've bought it from some famous japanese company.........................

Excellent work! Love how you did this. I can definitely learn from this!

What kind of filament do you use? I'm using eSun's Wood (light color) and Afina's Wood (dark wood color) and am having trouble with both, both are PLA. They are great for skin tones but the material's very tricky to use. eSun's Wood is very stringy and sloppy to work with. Afina's Wood is too soft - it breaks easily when stressed like putting two parts that snaps together. Mind you, I do not have this problem with regular PLA or ABS Filaments.

I just regular white Esun's ABS

I heard that wood can be problematic, that's because is not just a color, but a special mix of PLA, if I was you i'll print with regular PLA (tho i prefer ABS) and then paint the figure (previous sandpapering process)

*nods* Excellent advice here. I like ABS a lot but only one of my two printers can handle it (Tronxy P802MA). The second printer is small in size and not made for ABS.

Many thanks.

Hey, when you have the tools and the talent to do it, why not make your own?  Heaven knows I wouldn't be able to tell the difference, in a blind test, because these are just that high quality.
